Thanks to UKRI for funding this COVID-19 vaccine research project
SCORPIO was one of five nationally selected studies that investigate optimal use of vaccines in vulnerable patient groups. This funding seeks to underpin how best to use vaccines for protection from COVID-19 infection. It is a multi-centre study, involving researchers from Cambridge University – the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Sciences, Department of Medicine Cambridge Infectious Diseases and MRC Toxicology Unit, in collaboration with the Babraham Institute and King’s College Hospital, London.
